Matt Brouwer EPK
I've already relayed the roots of this story back here, but let me sum up: Matt came to me and Daniel Karr and asked us to shoot a promo for his record. He swung in one night, we shot a whole bunch of footage, and then we edited it together as best we could.
Of course, since the project was so rushed, he wasn't able to grab any members of his band outside of his drummer, Tigh Holstrom, so we were forced to make do without. In the following weeks, whenever we had a chance, we'd get someone else to come in and film another part of the band - one of our video producers, Kevin Jetton, played electric, and our web designer, Patty Hunton, played bass (oddly enough, Patty later became Matt's actual bass player). We edited it together, but since we never got to get the whole band together, I wasn't totally convinced that the viewer would buy it, so in order to get a whole band shot, I took shots of all four musicians and digitally inserted them together into some footage I'd shot of another band playing live, on top of the other band.
I was pretty proud of it. That shot comes up at :040, if you were wondering.
